This editorial portrait session took place in my home studio space in Nice, France.
Before the photoshoot, we had a design call together where we talked about ideas for outfits, accessories, hair, and general concept for the photoshoot together.
During the photoshoot I used only natural light – I have these giant glass doors that let in so much amazing light. I guided the Betty the whole time into different poses and gave her ideas and prompts so that the portraits would stay fresh and not stiff.
Betty is not a model and this was our first portrait session together – it just goes to show you the magic that can be done with the right portrait photographer.
After the photoshoot, I went through my standard post-photoshoot process of culling, editing with my exclusive filters, and retouching.
