Our Engagement Photography Process
1. Phone Chat
This is a no-commitment phone chat. I want to hear about you two, your story, and what's important to you two. After, I'll give you basic info about photoshoot options and pricing. If you're ready to move forward, we'll take a look at the photoshoot calendar!
2. Prep
After you've booked your photoshoot, we'll prep details together like- location ideas, outfit suggestions, hair/makeup, etc.
Each photoshoot is unique to YOU two. So we'll chat about what your preferences are and I'll suggest unique ideas that fit you two and your personalities.
3. Photoshoot
Your photoshoot will NOT be a typical photoshoot.
No boring, stiff, or awkward photos. You'll get to explore a beautiful outdoor location as if on a date, and we'll give you fun prompts the whole time to engage with each other, be silly, to laugh, be romantic, and just have fun.
We'll guide you the whole time into natural poses that don't look cliche. You won't ever have to worry about what to do with your hands or where to look.
4. Photo Premiere
2-3 weeks after your photoshoot, you'll come into our studio in Concord, MA for your Photo Premiere! We'll have a small collection of your images PRINTED for you to see and touch! We'll watch a personalized slideshow of all your photos. We'll go through them one by one to select your favorites, review any special editing notes, crops, etc. We'll show you different Art Print sizes and album examples. After, we'll decide what you'd like to order for prints, albums, and digital images.

Our Mission
Our goal is to capture the genuine joy and love of your relationship—what makes you special as a couple. We want your images to reflect your authentic emotions about being engaged to the love of your life, so we don't do forced poses and fake smiles. Instead, we focus on creating images that capture all the big feelings.
Collections
Engagement Sessions start at $250.
Our homebase is New Englad, but we travel often for photoshoots. Places we've traveld for photoshoots are all over New England, New York, the Western US, Mexico and France.
Wall Art
Your Art Prints and Album are your MEMORIES. There's an inexplicable experience we get when we have physical prints and albums for our memories, instead of just digital. Think about how you feel when you look at old family photos of when your parents were younger, or when you were a child, or photo albums from your past travels.
Our couples love to find places in their home where they can hang their portraits as art and as their memories.
Fine Art Albums
This is an example of what your engagement album will look like. Each image below show what the album looks like OPEN (left and right page of album together).
Every album is custom designed to fit YOUR story. No cut and paste templates. Our albums lay 100% flat so nothing gets lost in the middle and the center line is invisible. They're printed on museum quality paper so they're built to last generations and the archival ink makes the images pop.
Frequently Asked Questions
Our photoshoots start at $250. Prints, albums, and digital images are purchased separately during your Photo Premiere.
Every print and album comes with it's matching digital image! We don't have any option to only buy digital images. However, you can add them on to your print order!
Your images will be ready 2-3 weeks after your photoshoot. At this time you'll come into our studio in Concord, MA for your Photo Premiere!
Yes!
We make it easy for couples to add in travel to their photoshoot option. We often travel all over New England, to western US, France, and more! Let us know where you have in mind and we'll be able to easily tell you what a travel collection for you would look like.
First off- NO forced smiles or cliche poses. We guide you during your photoshoot in natural poses. (which we think you can see what we mean in our photos)
We take the time to actually get to know you. This makes a big difference in capturing GENUINE portraits during photoshoot.
We make the photoshoot fun and turn it into an outdoor adventure. No more boring, stiff photoshoots that your partner is dreading to go to.
We give you fun prompts during the photoshoot so that we can bring out authentic emotions and moments between you two.
Your In-Studio Photo Premiere
2-3 weeks after your photoshoot, you'll come into our studio in Concord, MA for your Photo Premiere
We'll relax with drinks and snacks. If it's cocktail hour, we'll have some wine or beer!
We'll have a small collection of your images PRINTED for you to see and touch. We'll watch a personalized slideshow of all your photos.
We'll go through them one by one to select your favorites, review any special editing notes, crops, etc. We'll show you different Art Print sizes and album examples. After, we'll decide what you'd like to order for prints, albums, and digital images.

About Chiha Studios
Hi! We are Gaby and Pierre Chiha, a father/daughter duo specializing in photography for the adventure couple.
Weddings, Elopements, and Engagements around the world.
New England is our home base, but we travel often for our couples.
Places we've traveled include western US, Mexico, and France!
Gaby holds a degree in photo journalism from Hofstra University and uses her degree to create a visual story through her images. Her favorite outdoor adventures include hiking in the White Mountains, skiing the steepest slopes, and traveling to exotic places like Morocco or Peru.
Pierre has been a professional photographer for over 20 years and has taught many courses in portraiture and lighting. His favorite outdoor adventures include hiking in all four seasons and traveling to Europe.
