Amber and John got married in August in the mountains around Salt Lake City, Utah, USA.

The day before their wedding we scheduled a special wedding photoshoot of the couple at sunrise with a first look as well.

Amber and John wanted to have a special first look that was private, but they didn't want to take time out of their actual wedding day to do this.

So I thought of a great way to do this before their wedding day.

We showed up to our photoshoot location in plain clothes. I told Amber and John that I wanted them to have a quiet moment together before we got started.

They hugged and held each other for the following minute as I told them to take in this moment together... that their wedding day was tomorrow and this was a special moment for the two of them to reflect on their love together. They had gone through so much together and come out stronger on the other end.

Then I told them to stand back to back and hold hands. Close your eyes and think of your love and your wedding celebration together.

Lastly, I told them - this is your moment. Walk away from each other without looking back. Go separately into a private spot to go change out of sight from each other.
